Australian Wagyu Tallow is a premium product that goes well beyond the flavours of any other cattle breed. It adds flavour for more delicious meat with a unique fat profile that marbles naturally within the intramuscular cuts to bring about added flavour and tenderness.
Australian Wagyu Tallow has a melting point below 40C, a much lower temperature than other fats, which gives it a signature buttery flavour that has made Wagyu famous around the world.
Australian Wagyu Tallow is used in searing meat to add flavour, frying eggs, mushrooms, omelettes, you name it, it goes with everything.
It makes a standard cut of beef taste amazing and raised it to the next level. Used also for roasts to replace vegetable oils. With so much flavour in the tallow the Chef's job is made easy.

As a natural product, tallow can vary depending on season and region the fat is sourced. In some cases the tallow process can create a more oily tallow, which is a result of the different melting temperatures of the various kinds and amounts of different fatty acids in the tallow. Other times the tallow can be more homogenous and firmer. Sometimes the tallow may have a more beefy smell when there is more meat attached to the fat. Bottom line, tallow is a natural product there is always going to be some seasonal variation.

- Texture & Consistency: Some batches may be more oily due to the different melting temperatures of the various fatty acids in the tallow. Other times, you may notice a more homogenous, firmer texture.
- Colour: The colour can fluctuate based on the natural differences in the fat, depending on factors like the animal's diet and environment.
- Scent: Occasionally, tallow can have a "beefy" scent, which results from a higher amount of meat naturally attached to the fat during rendering.
These variations are a testament to the unprocessed, natural origins of our tallow and should not be seen as defects. Please note that we do not offer refunds for these natural differences.
