Collagen Peptides - 900g
A fantastic source of protein and amino acids, which can be added to smoothies, hot and cold beverages, or baked goods. Collagen peptides are highly digestible, virtually tasteless and particularly good for supporting joints and tendon health.
Why use collagen?
Our natural ability to produce connective tissue diminished after the age of 25. It’s one of the reasons why we start to look older and may begin to experience joint problems. Taking collagen peptides is one way to support your body, particularly your joints, ligaments and skin.
Thankfully Nourished Collagen Peptides are a concentrated source of hydrolysed collagen, providing you with the protein and amino acids needed for tissue building and repair.
Thankfully Nourished Collagen is not just a generic collagen! This collagen has been enzymatically fermented into peptides with a specific molecular weight that is targeted and more bioavailable. This means you don’t need as much as other generic collagens on the market. You can read more about why this collagen is different from other collagens here.

Are Thankfully Nourished Collagen Peptides grass-fed and finished?
Thankfully Nourished collagen is derived from the hides of beef cattle that are free range and grass fed. As Germany has extremely cold weather, there may be times throughout the year that the cattle are sheltered and during this time they are fed non-GMO grain. For this reason Thankfully Nourished do not claim they are “grass finished”. Thankfully Nourished are confident that this has no impact on the quality or benefits found in the final product.
Collagen vs Gelatin
The main difference between collagen and gelatin is in their molecular weight. Collagen is lower in weight and size than gelatin and can easily be mixed into both hot and cold liquid (so you can add collagen to herbal teas etc. and it will dissolve beautifully). Gelatin is derived from collagen and has the ability to congeal liquids, making it perfect for making homemade jelly (but don't add this one to your cup of tea or as it cools you will get thick gelatinous tea!)
